La Mirada Golf Course 2006 “Golf Course of the Year”

Supervisor Don Knabe recognized La Mirada Golf Course as the 2006
County Golf Course of the Year at the Los Angeles County Board of
Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, January 30, 2007.
“La Mirada Golf Course is an exceptional facility from top to
bottom,” said Supervisor Knabe. “For a golf course to be selected as
the County’s best course five out of seven years speaks to the
outstanding services provided by the staff at La Mirada.”
The Los Angeles County Golf Courses compete annually for the coveted
title of Golf Course of the Year, presented by the Los Angeles
County Board of Supervisors. This year La Mirada Golf Course once
again beat out its competitors, receiving the prestigious honor for
the fifth time in the past seven years. La Mirada Golf Course is
located at 15501 East Alicante Road, La Mirada, CA 90638.
A team of judges evaluated Los Angeles County Golf Courses in a
number of categories, including laying conditions, appearance,
quality of service provided and overall condition of the facility.
